i'm back!
After 3 long weeks in china, I'm BACK!!! haha...really happy to be back home in Singapore now:) i see that u all have already roughly decided the outing date.
I'm okay with 25th june:) heh...n most prob i'll be booking a chalet around 30 june. yupz...will be booking it tomolo. hopefully there are still vacancies. if not, will most prob celebrate bdae by treating frens to a bdae buffet:) something simple, i guess.
yupz...i got all of u something from china. haha...dunno if u all will like it. watever it is, it is the thought that counts:)
it has been a really great learning experience in china. first time travelling abroad w/o parents...n luckily 4 me, my group members were all v nice:) haha...my group has 3 guys n 3 girls n guess wat, it was always the guys who were late n who bought the most stuff in china. haha...loads of interesting stuff happened during the trip n i really learnt a lot. heh...so much so that i'm gonna apply for a similar immersion program organised by the chemistry department to EUROPE! haha...only 2000 bucks for 3 weeks in the nov-dec hols!!! Going to germany, switzerland n holland. OMG! haha...really excited abt it, coz can finally practise my french in switzerland:) haha...but dunno whether can get it or not. but really hope that i can get it. it is always my dream to go to europe...although not going to france but at least going somewhere near there:)
n after this trip, i realise that i really liked travelling all over the world n it really isn't very hard to make frens from another country:) all u need is sincerity and enthusiasm. yupz...so if all goes well, i'll be going to europe after exams, maybe come back to singapore for a while n den flying off to US after tat. i think it will be a big logistics headache but i'm sure that i can sort it out:)
anyway, it has been like a dream for me in the last 20+ days...haha...it's like returning back to reality now. lots of things happened in china n i made a couple of really zai3 frens:) i'm really glad that i went! haha...will share with u all the photos once i sort them out properly...haha...anyway, hope u all had fun in the last 20+ days n tat u all din miss me too much:P haha...btw, here's my schedule for june in case there are any more changes to the outing date:
6 n 7 june: not free
14 june: outing with french classmates
16 - 19 june: in bali with family
20 june- 28 july: not free on weekdays (lab sessions from 9am-5.30pm on tues and 9am - 5pm on thursday) ->heard from seniors that lab reports(60% of marks) will be v tough so most prob not free on weekdays:(
